Would you advise against using balanced power for the 9B SST 2 amp?
Maybe a Furman SPR20i instead for the power amp?
The SPR20i isn't a true conditioner like say the Furman IT-Reference 20i or 15i. It's main purpose is voltage regulation and per the Furman literature you only need it if you have consistent and rather large power fluctuations. Notice how much heavier the IT-Reference 20i and 15i are, that's because they have very large toroidal transformers like the Bryston BIT15 and BIT20. In Furman's setup guide the SPR20i is typically connected to the wall and one of Furman's other conditioning products like the IT-Reference 20i, 15i or non reference series products such as the Elite-20 PF I are then connected to the SPR20i.
I like the Torus/Bryston approach for voltage regulation in their AVR series because it's added to the main units rather than needing a separate dedicated unit.
