Dear Members,
Just when you thought our Society meetings couldn't get
any better, well, hold on to your ears!!

   "World Premier" July 18th  @  TWEETER ::

BluePort Jazz, under the direction of recording &
mastering engineer Jim Merod and legendary audio
designer-mastering engineer Steve McCormack, will offer
the world premier audition of BluePort DVD-Audio
recordings recorded at 24-192.

In addition, BluePort Jazz compact disc albums,
recorded at 24-96, will be on sale with a 15% discount
available to LA&OC Audio Society members.
Jim Merod and Steve McCormack will personally be on
hand to premier the DVDA's and greet the Society.

That's at Tweeter in Costa Mesa on Sunday, July 18th,
5-9pm. Dinner served. New Members and guests are most
welcome.

Hear DVDA, SACD, and Cinema Surround "done right and
affordably" on three separate system demonstrations
[done simultaneously] in three separate sound rooms for
your listening pleasure. Sonus Faber and Martin Logan
are featured surround speakers. Excellent made in
America B&K Electronics are also featured.

We've all heard superb, newly recorded, BluePort jazz
CD recordings and have marveled at their life-like,
high definition sound, approaching top notch SACD and
DVDA sound quality.
I can hardly wait to hear newly recorded performances
done by two world renowned audiophiles with ultra high
sampling of 192!!! And, both Jim and Steve are Lifetime
Members of your Audio Society. We are priviledged to be
the host Society for the launch. Special thanks to
Kevin Smith, GM Tweeter Costa Mesa, for your very
generous help!

Mark your calendar for July 18th now!

Warmest regards and great listening,
Bob Levi
