Just got the latest Parts Express catalog and saw this amp for $99. Serves as a headphone amp too..

THD; 0.01% THD @ 30W into an 8 ohm load; 50W per channel continuous into an 8 ohm load @ 3% THD
1/4" headphone jack so unit can be used as a high fidelity headphone amplifier
Front-mounted 3.5 mm input for quick connection of portable audio devices
Compact extruded aluminum housing with thick black anodized faceplate
Rear mounted RCA type input for permanent connection of larger audio devices
Short circuit, thermal and overload protection
World compatible 24 VDC switch mode power supply included

Thanks.  I saw the same ad and though "wow, nice little T-amp, I want one."

So I hunted for info and found photos of the guts that put me off:

The photos are of an early example, so I am hoping that the factory got things sorted.  Does anyone know if that's true?

I have the DTA-100 as well as the Parts Express Sure TK2050. The Sure is the better of the two and with the Meanwell PS the price is the same.

Whoops!  :oops: Cheap but not so Cheerful! Those photos show horrible soldering technique. Better stick with DIY!
