If I am using my Virtue 1.2 with the sub out and the low freqs bypassed(jumper chnged to high freq). Do I need to bypass the cross over in my speakers?

No. The crossover in your speakers divides the sound among woofer, tweeter and midrange (if you have one). You do not want to bypass this function - your crossover was carefully designed by the mfg. to get the best balanced sound from your speaker. Modifying that is not a DIY job. Your Virtue is now gently rolling off the main speakers below 80Hz so they don't have to work as hard. It's a win-win situation in most applications and all you need to do to optimize it is to adjust the volume of your powered sub (at the sub) so the bass sounds normal (not boomy). The sub manual should tell you how to adjust phase (for maximum bass at your listening position). I believe the Virtue manual suggests setting your sub crossover at 80Hz for the best match. Check the Virtue manual for more detail.
