Living room, a Two-channel Audio System by philipp

Room Size
17'x24'x8'
System Overview
My main setup for listening to music, movies, and for dancing around with my wife.
Music Preferences
Rock and pop from old time crooners to doo wop to rock and roll to new wave to electronic to alternative to etc etc, Jazz from big band to bop to avant garde both american and euro, Classical from romantic to expressionist to avant garde, World Music from Ethiopia to Bali, and more. ;-)
Room Description
Open floor plan ranch house, suspended wood floors. Speakers about three feet from side and front walls, listening couch in the middle of the room far from all walls. It helps a lot!
Acoustic Treatment
none
Listening Impressions
Fun listening room that can get a little ripe in the bass and a little hard at high volumes but delivers a nice spacious window into the recording at normal volumes.
Media Storage
Generic cabinets for most things except the turntable and phono preamp benefit from being set on the base of a brick fireplace -- no vibration problems.
