Carbon Film Resistors in the Clarinet ?
« on: 7 May 2010, 11:26 pm »
I had to place an order for a couple Piccolo wall-warts. Found them at Mouser only!!  Anyway, thought I'd try the "4-resistor Clarinet tweek".  All I could find at Mouser were very inexpensive, 1-watt X-Icon carbon film types.  So, I got them.  Then, a little reading scared me away from putting them in.   Anyone tried these?  Is this a waste of time?  Thoughts appreciated.   :)

I mainly used Kiwame 2 watt carbon film resistors from Parts Connexion.
