Glacier Bay - Iceland

Black sand beach with massive chucks of ice reflecting in the morning sunshine.
No where else but Eastern Iceland!!

Both pics were a bitch to take -
You always had to keep one eye on the approaching surf rushing in, and not get trapped between huge chunks of ice blocking your escape route!
Our guide was laying in the sand trying to take a low angle shot when he got hit by a big wave......
It swamped his $3500 Nikon body and ruined it!

I do mostly sports stuff but why not throw a landscape in.... Not up to your guys shots but it is a fun hobby.

This was a blended exposure.
The foreground was shot a dusk and the stars shot a few hours later - same location.
Nikon D850 - Sigma 14mm
