ELT 5.1 packages?

So I caught over at the AV123 forum mention of this

Get Cse's for $299/pr under the Santa Schifter deal

Oh and a ULW-10...

$1096.50 for the complete 5.1 system!

What does this entail?

Is it a pair of CSE's for mains, then the center & a pair of LRS's all in rosewood and a ULW-10 (in ? finish)?

I'm looking at ELT's for a surpise housewarming gift. And the thought of a matching front array & better sub is most enticing. Sure, there's the regular ELT 5.1 package on sale for over $300 less, but it might be better to step up to the CSE's & ULW-10 if I got the idea of what's in the package right...

As far as I know all the speakers would be CSEs...not sure about the finishes...Someone from AV123 would certainly chime in to clarify...

It includes rosewood Cse's for all five channels and one ULW-10 in satin black (walnut and white shadow maple are also available if you like).

Hope that helps!

Thanks Sean, that's quite helpful.

Are the ULW-10 walnut and white shadow maple finishes extra $ in this package?

And while I've done a bit of fine woodworking in the past, I'm at a loss for what "white shadow maple" would look like. Is there a description or pics somewhere of that finish?

Thanks for the pic. Looks like nice Eastern Hard Maple (one of my favorite woods).

How dark is the walnut? And what's the frequency of sapwood in the veneer?

I'm told the walnut is medium to dark.  I have not seen a range of samples yet so I can't comment on sap lines, sorry :(

Thanks for the info on the walnut.

Guess it means it's time for decisions...
