It's landed in the SF Bay area! 9.5" 3-way with SB Acoustics Satori, Accuton, and RAAL drivers.

Interesting name, Rick.

What are the cabinet dimensions and specs?

One other question occurred to me - In this configuration, the woofer is placed very close to the other two drivers. Yet, I often see speakers where the woofer is more than a foot below the midrange driver. Why is this and how does it effect the sound?

Yet another question - Your photographs make it hard to tell, but are these floorstanders or could they be supported by low speaker stands?

I had a request for a cabinet with specific dimensions and it's 31.5" x 10 5/8" x 15" (HxWxD). It has very smooth vertical response and may sit this low or you can add a short stand. A taller cabinet is possible too if someone prefers that.

The crossover point of the woofer / dome midrange dictates that they be close together. The vertical integration is better this way.
The sensitivity is 86dB/2.83v/1M and bass response -3dB @35hz and -10dB @20hz (no room gain included). Easy to drive impedance, 6 ohms / nominal and 5.5 ohms minimum.  The size somewhat reminded me of some of the British speakers from Spendor and Harbeth, the latter inspiration for "Harbinger".

$6,100/pr. assembled including shipping to the CUSA. The kit is $3,000/pr. (includes everything except for the cabinets).

Here's the nearfield bass response. This is like measuring the output in a very large anechoic chamber and doesn't include any room gain.  The -3dB point is 35hz and -10dB @20hz.

That is some pretty impressive bass for a bookshelf speaker and I assume that is due to the 9.5" woofer.  So is this speaker essentially a Tempesta with a larger woofer?

It's a huge bookshelf.  :D

More of a floorstanding design and true, a larger version of the Tempesta.
