  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

After seen the image on this Fusor Link, seems to me the pin 2 and 4 are input.
Pin 1 are output until 20Volts
Pin 3 are output until 100Volts
Pin 5 are output until 120Volts
To be sure better look at the connections of the winding device.
Variacs are nice if it had a big digital display at output for precision adjust level.
I afraid of Variacs with small needle pointer display etc...

If it doesn't work or you miss wired it...you will end up with a puff of smoke.  Probably get electrocuted.  Be careful that is my point. ;)

I got help over at AA
Its hooked up an working
Varicacs are great to slowly powering up vintage tube equipment. I hook up an amp-meter and slowly raise the voltage watching current draw.  If the current rises very fast there is a fault and you cant cut off voltage before damage is done.  after I make changes or repairs to tube equipment I check the same way, if I made a mistake I can find out with out doing damage.

I have General Radio power supplies for the Loesch & Weisner preamp. Great products from back in the day.
