Actually I am interested in the "boring" stuff.  The rational in adding an additional driver, how they were manufactured, are they shipped as one piece , or 3 etc.  I am sure all that information will come out in time. They do look amazing, if I had not been traveling for work the two weeks prior to the Montreal show, I certainly would have traveled down to see/listen to them in person.

Have a great weekend.

Hi sfraser - It was much more than adding one driver.  The design is a line-array so the way the speaker radiates sound into the room is totally different than a point source speaker.  The crossover is different as well as it has to account for the change in the radiation response.

They will be shipped as one piece but are manufactured as 3 separate pieces.

James, when you have a moment could you provide us with a detailed rundown on these new speakers?

The comprehensive information available from a full (CEA2034) spinorama for speakers means some of us can dispense with speculation about methodology and subjective opinion from experts. Easy Peasy.

James,

Would the line array Middle T10 or the original Middle T10 be a better option for a small room (10’x12’x8’)?

Any pricing available yet on the Middle T10?

Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam

Line Arrays like the Middle T10 will work fine in a small room due to the wave launch but either the Middle T or the Middle T10 would be fine.
The Middle T10 will be $14K list.

Those bass drivers look bigger than the ones in the model t. Are the model t10 woofers 10" drivers?

Hi Josh - they are the same as the Model T - they are 8 inch woofers.
