I wanted to biwire my 3.6 Magnepans with two sets of Kimber 8TC. I already had the blue black, and bought some of the clear/white for the mid/hi. After messing around some i 'dicovered' the eight strands of the 8TC really just fit and fill the standard Magnepan speaker wire ports.
Using a bit of shrink wrap on the bundle of eight helps keep the wires in line so I can just slide them into the connector 'bare wire'.\This is GREAT.
I had been trying to squish the WBT sleeves into shape to slide into the Maggie connectors, then realized why bother with the sleeves at all!
The maggie connector screw tighens into the wires and keeps then snug perfectly.
I do not know why I never thought of this earlier.

I would imagine they will also fit the MMG's ??  I've been wanting to try a different cable,
I'm using older audioquest type 4 but there twenty five feet long and I would like to try
a shorter configuration.

Yes, they'll fit the MMGs.
I've been using the Kimbers for years and would like to try the 12TCs next.
