Aircraft buff?

I ran across a pretty neat site that shows all the airborne aircraft at any given moment.
From a geek perspective, it's pretty cool.

http://planefinder.net/

You can zoom with the mouse wheel. You can also click an individual aircraft to see it's trajectory, ID, speed, etc..etc..

In the lower right corner, is the equivalent site for seagoing ships.

Just in case you're ever bored. You can thank me then.

p.s. If your PC is old and slow, don't even try it.

Bob,

That's awesome.  A heavy went over my house around 12:30 am.  I found it on planefinder.net.  It was an Atlas Air 747 cargo on the way to Luxembourg.  It was northeast of Bristol Virginia when I found it on planefinder.net

That's pretty cool. I had three of those dual rotor Chinooks fly over my house at low altitude once. That blew my mind.  :o
