I know his wife was very ill, has the same thing I have so he and I talked alot. I sent him an email asking what was happening so I could get you guys the info. As soon as I hear you all will hear, this is very upsetting to me...

This was his last e-mail that I've received on 8/16 ......

"Sorry everyone, I am little late getting order out this week. I got very sick Sunday night and am still not recovered. Hopefully, by tomorrow I will be up and around and can get your orders shipped.

I have to say that I am taken back by this sad news.

I got to know Lee a little bit as we both carry the Dayens line of amplifiers. I always found him to be nice and cordial. How old was Lee?

We never know when our time will come.

OMG, I can't believe this. I just spoke with him not long ago, and felt I was just getting to know him (he sold me his demo Antelope Gold/Voltikus back in May and treated me like a friend). This is just terrible news, and I am so sorry and sad for his wife and family. Please, whoever is close to him, please let them know his AC friends are devastated to lose such a great person..

Hello Friends -

This is Josh from Sonicweld. Lee was my best friend and most trusted business advisor for the past twenty years. I'm the one who confirmed his passing, which occurred sometime this past Friday. He was only 46 years old. Life is a fragile thing and can be snuffed out at any moment; it is jarring when someone is taken prematurely. I'm so grateful for the time I had with my dear friend and for the innumerable cherished memories we created together, and I will miss him beyond my ability to express. Thank you so much, everyone, for your well wishes, and for your friendship and support to Lee; it means a great deal to me.

Unfortunately Lee's family is left in a very precarious situation. His wife has cancer, and Lee was the sole breadwinner for the family. I am working on the establishment of some kind of benefit fund for his family, but the details are yet to be hashed out. An official announcement about his death is also pending, but as everyone might imagine, there is a great deal to be done this week with the planning of the funeral and the settling of his affairs.

Gosh, just saw this; I only visited with Lee a while ago as I was buying one of his cables, but a great guy and will be missed.

My sincere condolences to family & friends and our prayers are with them.

I sent him an email and got a response from his friend of 20 years that yes in fact Lee passed unexpectedly sometime last Friday, I can't imagine how devastated his family must be and all my prayers go out to them. Lee showed me incredible kindness when I was very ill and struggling something I'll never forget, I can only try and do my best to help someone else in the same way someday. He will be sorely missed, rest in peace my friend.

Sad news indeed. I didn't know Lee very well but what interaction I had with him left kind memories. All the best to his family, I am certain he will be missed by many.

I am very sorry to hear this.

While I didn't know Lee very well he was extremely helpful and friendly on these forums and when I ordered from Cryo-Parts.

His kindness and enthusiasm will certainly be missed.
