This TT is in flawless condition.  It has been equipped w/ an isoplatmat to prevent any ringing.  The tonearm is a low mass design, intended for use w/ a high compliance cartridge.  I got it from Kevin Barrett of KAB and had been his father's personal TT.  The Shure V15 was replaced with a hybrid, that Kevin constructed from a Pickering body and the D6800 elliptical stylus assembly.  It outputs about 3mV and tracks @ .75 to 1.5 gms.  The TT is internally suspended and shuts off automatically @ the side end.  It is a belt drive, but closely regulated speed via quartz lock.  Spare belt included. Has all three speeds.  Dust cover in excellent shape.
I will ship it but I am in suburban NJ and would prefer pickup.   
I have the original box and factory protractor.

It's one of the best belt drives that DUAL ever made...belt drive, but closely regulated speed via quartz lock (a real rarity that should come back in style one day).

Larry is the former co-Fac at the Vinyl Circle...so he's an experienced vinylphool selling one fine deck.

Larry, if memory serves me correct, this is semi-auto or fully auto?  So, for the newbie or someone wanting to wade back into the vinyl waters with little expenditure, good sonics, but minimum hassle (your needle won't ride around with auto off or pickup) - this one might be for you

You have to move the arm towards the record and it cues itself.  Automatic shutoff at the end of the side and the arm rises.  I guess thats automatic.

My Dual Golden One is a fancy version of the CS5000.
The 'gold' on the platter is corroded in spots.(obviously thier idea of 'gold' and the real thing were not the same)
But i keep it around for the features of auto set down, auto lift at end of play and auto shut off.
I have a Dynavector Ruby 23 on mine.

I've seen some black ones but  I thought the natural wood looked better than black.  The gold is only on the platter?  How's it sound, any other upgrades beyond the gold platter?
I thought that Dynavector Ruby was an urban legend, how does it work w/ that low mass arm?
