Vinnie sent me the Ginevra phono stage about two weeks ago, and I've had it breaking in, in the background with the Hagerman i-RIAA.  Finally got down to some serious listening tonight and I must say, he's hit it out of the park with this one.  We'll have a full review in issue 37, but for now, if you've purchased one of these little jewels and really want to take it to the next level, invest $225 in a single ECC88 from EAT.  You can get them at Music Direct.

I'm pretty much a slacker when it comes to tube rolling, but this tube really wakes up the already great Ginevra.  Not even the same preamp, with much more bass grunt and a much bigger soundstage overall.  I can't suggest this change highly enough.
