Just curious, are all the components soldered on to the board already (looks that way from the picture)? Is there a section on the PC board allocated for the power supply ?  Correct me if I am wrong, one has to assemble a power supply block (transformer, rectifier, caps etc.) to make this kit work?

The r and c are soldered.  There is no power supply

Surprised this is still here, it's a really versatile platform and sounds good to boot. I've had one running for a few months using 6SN7 in the output and 5692 in the input positions. The build is straight forward and has plenty of support from the designer. He also offers a companion power supply kit, and ancilliary parts for a complete pre amp.

I guess I need to find out what this is. Is there an Aikido.com website? If everything is soldered how is it a kit?  Feel free to email me, I just updated it.

It is what it is. There is plenty to do to makes this a functional pre.  This just a stereo amp board.
