Before listing on A'gon, wanted to give my Audiocircle colleagues first dibs on my Modwright SWL 9.0 SE (black faceplate) purchased direct from Dan in 8/06, and subsequently upgraded by him to the tube rectified power supply in 5/07.  Has the original Sonicaps and remote.  Unit is in pristine condition (will rate it 9/10 since used), but no scratches whatsoever, and has the remainder of the 5 year warranty (fully transferable to 2nd owner).  This linestage is glorious sounding with the NOS RCA branded Mullard 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier and Sovtek 5687 tubes.  I will also include my Ruby and TAD Select GZ34 tubes, and Philips JAN 5687 tubes, all of which have few hours on them.  Only reason I'm selling is that I recently acquired a C-J CT5 (which the Modwright really gives a run for the $$).  Have original shipping box, owners manual, power cord, and hex wrench.  Asking $1500, plus shipping (add 3% if Paypal).  Local pickup in the Tampa Bay area can be arranged.

Bump!  Lots of tire-kickers, but still available.  This unit has the transferrable warranty.  Lowering price to $1400 (for Audiocircle Members), to include (ground) shipping to lower 48.  Add 3% for Paypal.

$LOWBALL shipped and you have yourself a deal....

I don't know the seller, the item being sold, obviously not the first-time poster of the above, but... surely it is in pretty bad taste to post a lowball offer on the thread? Maybe I'm wrong, but I would not care for it if it was my for-sale ad.

Seller is asking $1300, so $1250 is certainly not a "lowball offer".  Actually, I would call it quite fair.

However, I do feel that making an offer, any offer, on a public board is tacky.  That should be done privately.  IMHO, of course.

Don't the new anti-spam rules prevent a new member from PM usage until X posts?

I dunno.  If that's the case then a newbie really has no choice but to make a public offer, does he?
