^^^ Yep, chgolatin, Acura is owned by Honda. Rebadged would imply only a different sticker for the same equipment; Acura adds value mainly by convenience features and a bit of performance. My 2006 TSX has technology/features as standard equipment that were available on the higher models Hondas as options. Now, my parents Accord 2008 has many the same items stock-Bluetooth, etc. I've had 2 hondas and 1 Acura. In general Acuras are a little plusher, and a bit more performance--by a small degree. Warranty length is double on Acuras compared to Honda.
And I strongly dislike the new beak grille (cow catcher....my term) on the new Acuras. Wouldn't buy it regardless of price.
