The ONIX DAC25 Upsampling DAC with Headphone Monitor
The DAC25 is a superb Digital to Analog converter that uses the top Burr-Brown DAC and 2134 op-amps. With exceptional build and component quality, the DAC25 can go head to head with some pretty spendy units.
Benefits
A huge leap in clarity and noise reduction when playing normal or high resolution files from your PC. Instrument separation and transparency will allow a much more involving listening experience from your computer.
This is not a rebadge of another product. Similarities are largely due to price point and you should not assume they will sound alike!
It has true symmetrical XLR outputs. Many offer XLR but they are not truly balanced inputs.
The USB implementation is superior on the Onix than many others due to the Cirrus Logic S/PDIF buffer.
The headphone amp is a great feature too. Works well with a range of cans including the 300-600ohm Senn HD600's.
