The stands are 24" high and I'm guessing weigh about 50-60 lbs, solid. They have an "S" on the base of the columns, don't know who makes them, I've borrowed them from a fellow audiophile...
Bass extension is excellent for a speaker of that size. I listened to it with and without the subs engaged on these speakers (
http://selahaudio.com/id185.html ) With the sealed subs in my floorstanders working to fill in the bottom end, they produced a nice full range sound. The veritas in my 17x21' room without the subs still did a nice job on the low end, just not gut pounding, which is too be expected from a small speaker. I'm sure Rick could do the speaker with a port to get a better bottom end without a sub.
Imaging was fantastic as was the sounstaging... Definitely a superb bookshelf size speaker in the $2k range. I'd call Rick with ?'s.
