I have a excellent condition Music Hall CD-25 CD player with Underwood Level 1 Plus mods. I bought this player new in September 2003 for $930 and the original receipt will be included, along with owners manual and remote. Will be shipped in the original box. This is a great red book player that I hooked up, placed in the rack and used trouble-free to the present. Recently upgraded to the Cambridge Audio 840C. The mods are expertly done by Cris Johnson at Parts Connexion in Canada and include Soundcoat sheets, Vampire RCA connectors, 10 Riken resistors, 8 Black gate capacitors, 2 Multicap capacitors, 8 Vishay diodes and a bunch of other stuff. The player is pretty heavy and built like a tank. This player also has the Pacific Microsonics HDCD chip in it, so it will play those CDs. The unit is in fantastic cosmetic condition, functions perfectly and never given me a spot of trouble. I found the sound of the player to be very pleasing and accurate, without being harsh like many other mid-priced CD players. I am asking $390 shipped within the continental US.
