UltraFi custom build SET monoblocks







6EM7 dual triodes, very linear, fast, neutral
Honest presentation, good front end required
Plate mount wire to wire construction
Amorphous choke, Audio Note film
James output transformer
Cardas connects
Custom Curly Maple/Cherry enclosure
470K ohm input impedance (typical of volt driven tubes)
1.5 W @ 8 ohm ( glorious first watt with full frequency drivers/horns)

It would be nice to state the power output. Input impedance? Overall gain? What output taps are provided, in other words, 8 ohm or 4 ohm or 16 ohm? And a picture of the insides... :o

Having owned a wonderful UltraFi 300B set amp for the past 9 years, I can confirm that they are excellent build quality.
And like mine, I can only imagine that the SQ of these is way beyond the price point.
Almost wish that I could use them.
Good luck with the sale, someone is going to be very pleased!

Love my Music Reference *EM7 amp which is not dual mono like this one. Because the input tube driver and output are both within the same glass envelope sharing the same heat and thus vibration, the sound is exceptionally coherent. I like to think of it as a SET of SET. Single and Simple. So I bet this is an awesome amp.

Indeed, whenever you execute within a watt, you know how good your source and music is. The rest is all about distortion control. Too bad so many chase labels and hype, this forum documents that, “belonging” is hard on the wallet. In case there’s any doubt, these blocks are duplicitous to me, here’s your chance to step up !
