I'm sorry to have to let folks here know that MrAcoustat has passed away.

I would have loved to have heard his system having owned Acoustat Three's some years ago.  They were about a third the size of his.  RIP music lover.

That is sad news.
You could tell that he was a real enthusiast who loved his gigundo Acoustats.
It takes some real devotion to own speakers the size of, well, Acoustats!
RIP, MrAcoustat, you will be missed.

I'm sorry to read of his passing. He was a really nice guy (a month shy of turning 70) and he did love his Acoustats, but the one in that photo (Spectra 8800) belonged to a friend of his named Jocelyn, who built the steel framed 1+1s for him.
