Audiophile Estate Sale
« on: 21 Feb 2015, 02:13 pm »
If you are interested in purchasing an item, please provide your name and phone number. I have a somewhat balky email and this will make things easier. We prefer local purchases, as you can listen to the gear beforehand.
Cash is preferred for a local sale, US postal money order is required for a shipped sale.
New prices at 25% off... and double posted in the garage sale section as well. As that bird says, "Cheap Cheap Fun Fun"

Somebody should jump on the Atma-Sphere!  It doesn't get any better.

Does the Hafler Transnova 150 amp have another model number?

Looking for a 9303 or a 9500.  Could also be a P1500.

Hal, it is a P1500. Thanks!

You are spot on, Bob, the Atma and the Canary are drop dead stunners, and well under market. You won't find a better deal unless an uncle gives you one. 8)

Marty picked off the Technics SP25, Carl sniped the McCormack DNA1.0 Deluxe, Steve McCormack grabbed the DNA 0.5, Jim picked up the AR ETL-1 turntable, Doug spoke for the Altec 755Es, and Chad picked up the Don Allen cakepan. Stuff is moving briskly! Cuck is getting the Don Allen phono stage, and Jeff is getting the Don Allen 807 integrated.

Sorry to hear of him passing. Condolences to all involved. He sure was passionate.

Steve McCormack grabbed the DNA 0.5

Now that is interesting. Why would that be?

I believe he(Steve) had a client who wanted a second DNA 0.5 ugraded to a certain level so the client could run them bridged, or the client wanted to biamp a system. It speaks well that the original designer/builder still has business demand for a 15 years ago amp.

You'll have to post a few more times before you can receive a PM, so feel free to post a couple here.
I think you need 3 posts?

I want to buy the Atma-Sphere stereo amp.  I've met designer Ralph Karsten and owned Atma-Sphere  M-60s in the past.  Please contact me right away with the Serial No. so I can check date of manufacture and upgrades with Ralph - I may ask you to ship it directly to him for updating.

Sorry, I need more posts before I can send a PM.  I see now that someone else expressed interest in the Atma-Sphere.  I definitely want it if it's still available.  Paul

You're officially public now Paul. You should have all the rights and privileges of a real "AudioCircler" now.
