Our 2012 CES/THE SHOW exhibit will feature as co-exhibitors:

Wyred4Sound/Ampzilla and

Wywires

Wyred4Sound will show its full line of preamps, power amps, DAC's and other surprises to be announced.  Wywires will have on hand the latest incarnation of its superpremium Speaker Wire plus a full set of its top of the line balanced interconnects.

VMPS will debut the Series II edition of the RM50 speaker system ($16,900pr) complete with your choice of digital controller or outboard analog crossover.

This year we will have more variety and number of performers for our one of a kind live-vs-recorded demo.  Scheduled to appear: the Merv Harding Quintet featuring legendary alto sax/flute/clarinet player Fred Haller, a James Bongiorno solo jazz piano recital, and three guest vocalists to be announced.

On Wednesday Jan 11 only there will be a special guest appearance by:

                                                                                                 Paul Stookey

of Peter Paul and Mary.  Hear and meet a man who was part of the most influential folk music group in history.  Time to be announced. Seats on first come first served basis. Location is the Lake Mead Ballroom of the Flamingo Hotel, Jan 10-13.

I'm giving this announcement a Holiday bump.  There will be more info posted here shortly.  If you plan to come to LV in January, don't miss our Lalapalooza!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We'd like to recruit a few volunteers to help set up and break down our booth.  Anyone on AC planning to go to CES?

I don't have the exact details but I heard something recently about Wyred acquiring the rights to the Ampzilla brand.

I could be wrong but I think they've been building these amps for some time.

It would be nice to see a line of AB amps from Wyred under the Ampzilla brand.  I like the Ice-power amps, but I still prefer a good AB amp.

The Ampzilla name has a lot of nostalgia value for me and many other audiophiles.

I would LOVE to see a new Son of Ampzilla or Grandson.

Cullen Circuits has long been building the AMPZILLAS and Spread Spectrum Technologies gear for James.  I think that relationship with Rick, (Cullen) EJ, (W4S) and James is evolving, but I will let them fill in any details they might wish to release.

AMPZILLA, W4S, and WyWires are all "room partners" at THE Show in January and I expect to soon be posting more details on what our Playback SYSTEM will include, and what GEAR will be shown.

James has spoken of a few "new" developments coming down the pike, but not how soon they will be available, but they did sound exciting.

Regarding the Son of AMPZILLA;  It is already here.  CLICK and LOOK HERE for info

The SHOW SYSTEM

Where: Lake Mead Ballroom

Although this system will be "updated" as we get closer to THE Show, here is the basic SYSTEM for the VMPS room with Wyred 4 Sound, Ampzilla, and WyWires as co-exhibitors.

Transport: TBD

Music Server: NEW!! W4S Music Server

DAC:  W4S DAC-2

Preamp: AMBROSIA or W4S STP-SE

Amps: AMPZILLA 2000 2nd Edition Monoblocs or W4S SX-1000 Monoblocs

Speakers:  NEW VMPS RM50 Bipole Array Series II
D-OXO: Modified Digital Controller

Brian has told me we should have pictures of the NEW RM50 Bipole Array soon.

I (or Alex) will be posting all the WyWires Cables and Wiring, as well as all changes and updates as they occur.  If you have questions about the system, or any of its components, you can post them here.

This should be a very exciting SYSTEM, ROOM, and DISPLAY of gear, technology, and Live versus Recorded Performances.

I will also be posting the Recording Chain Gear as soon as it is available for all you techies.  It will be assembled and operated by our crack Recording Engineer James Harger of Harger Audio.

This Thread will serve as an update as we approach THE Show, but for further information CLICK below:

I think all three of these items are new and being introduced this month and shown in Vegas.  I think some of the staff from W4S will be looking in on this thread and may be able to add more.

Some info can be found HERE

We are very excited to be a part of this event. John is correct regarding the new products that will be available and displayed/used at the show. More concrete details regarding the system setup and products displayed will be posted in the coming weeks.

Our hands are quite full finalizing details for our new gear and keeping up with new orders. I will keep an eye on the thread and if anyone has any questions they prefer to ask directly don't hesitate to email me directly at clint@wyred4sound.com. I can't believe how soon showtime will be here!  :D

MADE in the USA
And incase No one noticed, the majority of the SYSTEM GEAR, Cable & Wiring, and Speakers are US Produced and Assembled.

So for those who have the "Made in USA" mindset, we make an effort to do as much as we can on our end.
