Hi PeteG.
Thanks for the info on the settings.
I will try that with my Nikon D200 I know, it's an old body like mine.
I will do a test from the roof of my house (Equivalent of a 5th floor)
in a suburb of Saigon and I know there will be lots of air turbulence
that will make my picture fuzzy.
On my next trip to Dalat City, which is in the mountains away from the big city, that should improve my pictures.
So, 1600 ISO at 30 seconds and F/3.5 that should do the trick.
Thanks again.

Guy 13

For me a good starting point is: wide-angle lens, f2.8-f4, 1600-6400iso, 20-30".

Hi PeteG.
For my Nikon D200, I only have an equivalent to 28 to 80mm F/3.5
and a 85mm F/1.8, so I guess it will have to do
and I will have to experiment.
Thanks.

Hi all.
While still cleaning up my zillions pictures,
I just found a closer look at my wife's torture session.
In other words: The blood suction session.
You will have a better view at what those little cups look like.
Enjoy, if you can.
Not for the faith of hart.

Took this shot earlier this month at sundown from the front deck of our farmhouse.
(Facing south with the last of the sun pretty much behind me and shining on the clouds.)

Hey Guy 13, I don’t think the pharmaceutical companies in the US want to see any kind of natural remedy for feeling better like what your wife is doing although that’s just what we need.

Thanks for sharing..

Hi Brooklyn.
Most of the Vietnamese living in the USA use that natural remedy for feeling better,
unless they are from Vietnamese parents and were born in USA, then those young lads, might not believe in that type of natural medicine.
Of course the American pharmaceutical companies don't want to see that kind of natural medicine, they want to sell pills and make zillions of $$$ in profits.
I wonder if there are any Vietnamese share holders in those pharmaceutical companies? Do you think they use pills or natural medicine ? ? ?

Hi all.
Starting now and for a few days
or until I run out of pictures, which ever comes first,
I will be posting pictures of things that you can only find on planet Vietnam
or maybe also in Asia.
What contain those bags?

AC Vietnamese members;
please don’t post the answer to this question.
This question is only for the AC members that never went to Vietnam
or Asia.
Those bags contain fish sauce (Nuoc Mam in Vietnamese)
and why are they pressurized like that?
The answer is:
It’s because it look nicer that way, it’s like a little balloon
and also because it gives a better grip and seal on the rubber band.
Now, how do they put the air in the little plastic bag?
Compressed air from an air compressor?
Compressed propane gas from a propane tank?
Fart gas from… Well you know where it comes from.
None of the above, the chef just blow with his mouth in the bad and if that day, he’s got a cold, well all his customer will get his cold/microbes.
No joke.
He really blows air with his mouth and what about if he’s got that day a bad breath?
Well, it depends, if he had garlic that day, it will give a special taste/flavor to the fish oil. Maybe that’s why the Vietnamese like so much the fish oil.
More tomorrow.

Guy 13 on planet Vietnam,
where things are done a little differently.

Hi all.
Those pictures were taken at Dalat city in a Buddhist temple.
They cross/waive/knit the tree to make it look special.
First time I ever saw something like that.
Enjoy.

Hey, Bob.
The beer looks like it's posing!
I like the one before, with the dark cloud and the dramatic layering of brightness, foreground to background.

Cheers!
