FS: Decware Zen TORII Mk III- CLOSED
« on: 21 Jul 2011, 12:44 am »
TORII Mk III with Walnut base & volume knob and the Stepped Attenuator($149.)

The amp is mint and has less than 80 hours.

I love the sound, but it's a little short on power with my Wilson S3s.

The current waiting time for a TORII Mk III is running over two months and the price is
going up on 8/31/11.

Original boxes and AC cable

$2250. plus Shipping.

Need to sell this by 8/09/11.

Can you describe the sound and imaging of the amp? What would you compare it to?

Thanks.

Is the warranty transferrable?

Soundstage- If your speakers well out into the room set up in a triangle with the listening chair, you will be able to hear the music go holographic with outrageous depth and width. The treble and bass controls will help you tune the amp to your speakers. I'd compare it to the ARC 610Ts I heard with S3s last year.

The warranty is transferrable if the amp is sent back to Decware for re-certification.

Did the 30 day money-back guarantee expire?

Did the 30 day money-back guarantee expire?

I'am guessing that the Stepped Atenuator is an option and any amp with options does not have a 30 day return.

Also not sure how much cost it is to sent to Decware for recertification?

My 30 days hasn't expired, and this amp is returnable.

There's a $75. charge for recertification.

All this information is available on the website.

When I searched for "Decware"  here in amplification for sale your amp did not come up.  You should put a space between "FS:" and "Decware"  Hope this helps.

Nice amp!  As a Torii owner myself, this is a great deal....

If I didn't already have one, I'd buy it for this price!

:)

I don't understand why someone that doesn't have the money to purchase the listed item, feels the
need to make comments about the ad.

Maybe he's trying to help you out.  Although perhaps that's better in a private message.

Agreed. Bad form to crap on someone's FS thread. Might have been better to mention in a PM to the seller. We all calculate our prices based on a balance of what we feel is appropriate, what amount of money we may need at the moment, and the urgency for a quick sale.

Good luck in your sale jhm731. You may get a PM from me yet...

How about somebody that has the money but no intention of purchasing? Then you have no worries about me trying to talk your price down or anything... so, when I buy used, I assume that one of the things that I will be missing out on is that if I need to call the manufacturer, it will not be the same as if I bought it straight from them. That little detail is worth at least, at least 30% of the price for me. So for a potential customer like me, your price would not even enter into consideration.

Snooty remarks about the pocketbooks of my fellow audiophiles--particularly in these times of world-wide financial fraud and widespread unemployment--make a future purchase more or less impossible for me, but perhaps you'll find other audiophiles that are more sympathetic to hearing such remarks.

If you have no intention of purchasing the amp you're not a potential customer.

Please don't post comments about my ad.

The price isn't the lowest, but its BRAND NEW, within the return period, there is a very long wait for a new unit and rumor of a price increase to come.  Cut the seller some slack, and mods--please clean his thread for him.  I wouldn't like the turn this were taking were it my brand new purchase.
