I have a pair of nice Altec 846u loudspeakers that I am considering parting with. The original birch cabinets have been stained darker by a previous owner, which, short of missing the Altec insignias on the screens are the only changes/flaw. Woofer, horn, driver, crossover and foam surround around the horn are all in mint/near mint condition.
I'd prefer not to ship...but will deliver to a crating/shipping handler of the buyers choice (within reasonable driving distance). I'm looking for $950...the drivers/horn are worth more than that and the ported cabinets are in good shape given the age.
