Your Latest Music Purchase
« on: 26 Oct 2017, 08:26 pm »
It has been a real treat looking through the Bryston “Top 10 Playlist” thread in that it lets you experience “new to you” music. As a primary connoisseur of Gothic music, I also enjoy exploring music that is not in the realm of the Gothic genre – after all; my hobby is collecting music where my passion is listening to it.

Another great thread is “What Are You Currently Listening To,” which also showcases new music genres that may be overlooked or not known to some individuals – one post at a time.

An issue that I experience is that it often requires an extended period of time to post music in threads such as noted above after the initial purchase. Currently, I have a “buffer” storage area that my new music purchases reside in until they are enjoyed on my system - the buffer currently contains approximately 200 CDs waiting patiently to be enjoyed. My purchases often range from a solitary album, to at times, a dozen or so on a single order.

So here you have it, a thread for posting your newly purchased music, regardless of format, for other individuals to quickly explore and perhaps to enjoy.

Be well...

Same! I have around 20 gigs that has been sitting on my computer waiting to be transferred for the last 2 months. Usually, I'm much quicker but when I stopped and looked at Roon's display of total tracks in my library, I thought "why not take a moment to just listen."   :thumb:

I'm listening to Jamiroquai's 2017 album "Automaton" for the first time right now. Was listening to some Flume before that. I'm all over the place.

At times, I really envy our digital music friends due to the neat and well organized (plus readily available) music collections  :D :thumb:

Here is the Laundrew "buffer" horror
