Did you see the high priced McIntosh speakers :o that Reaction Audio was comparing their very cheap bookshelf speakers to on their facebook page below, WOW!  :)

Interesting new brand, they dont inform the xover freq cut though.
Two way coaxial besides use xover is a nice solution to hi spl and full freq extension.

These Mac speakers are awful, they seems to be 5 ways, a HT model, it do just sound.
W/this kind of monster xover and 15 drivers there is no sign of harmonics or the original music time-freq alignment.

As frm said, these are coax and not single drivers. These can sound ok but I'm not a fan of compression drivers used across such a wide bandwidth.

These are new to me, not much information, but I like the coaxial concept.  Look more like PA speakers than anything else.

Hawthorne does open baffle coaxial drivers of similar sizes and frankly have a challenge integrating vastly different sized woofer/tweeter.

The FB comparison comment versus McIntosh speaker was vague, very limited, highly qualified, and admittedly biased (pretty useless).  Whatever you think of McIntosh gear overall (opinions vary widely), they've never built an even decent speaker.  Their solution have always been to add more drivers.

It's a new-ish small operation - though Jeremy has been in the subwoofer business for years.

The thread starter JBrown has/had JTR speakers and loves RA.

I have an early version of his Reaction sub. Shipping (UPS!) damaged one speaker - so I thought and he sent me two replacements - which were needed.
