I have an old pair of 626 monitors and I fried one of the tweeters. I think they are Focal T-120's but I am not sure. I have looked everywhere and can't find a replacement. Any suggestions: Anybody have a 626 they want to sell a tweeter our of?

 Of course if I could replace one great but if I have to substitute something else that would be fine. I really don't want to get into redoing the crossover if possible.

There was a single Focal/VMPS T120 tweeter, recently on eBay.  I don't believe it sold.  Maybe email the seller, to see if it's still available?

I don't think that is a T120K,I believe it may be a T90K. Measure the mounting plate to be sure,the T120K is larger.  Here is a picture of a T120K. Rich

You may want to consider changing both to the Morel soft domes,it looks like yours may have have that type of tweeter originally by looking at the round mounting hole. I changed all of mine in my Supertower III,s and am satisfied with the sound. Rich

The Focal T120 has a titanium inverted dome.  They were used in VSR line of speakers.

That looks like a Kevlar dome as a comparison.  Those were also used in the original STIII's.

What model number is the morel soft dome and are they readily available?

I looked at Morel CAT-308 and MDT 29 on parts express but I am not sure they will work. the MDT-30 is no longer around
