I know ACI doesn't do kits any more, but I just got my ACI Titan II kit finished!  It's a long story that nobody would want to hear, but the short version is that after years of having no time or tools to build the cabinets, I finally decided to have Jim Salk build me the cabinets.  I have them paired with some ProAc Tablette 50 Signatures.

They haven't had near enough play time to break in yet, but so far they sound great!  I just wanted to share some pictures of the result and thank ACI for a great sub and Jim Salk for a gorgeous cabinet (he's an artist!).

Here's the sub (finished in fiddleback maple):

Here's a corner detail (the edges are hardwood curley maple):

These pictures are also in my gallery at:

Ten year old Sapphire II and Titan subs. I'm very seriously thinking of upgrading to Sapphire XLs. Love my current setup, but heck, after ten years I'm ready for an upgrade. I've been very happy with ACI quality and service and probably wouldn't go elsewhere. I would have been here sooner but was unable to log in due to yahoo mail account. Thanks Mike for taking care of this! How many CEOs will step up like that for their customers.

All of the following ACI speakers were purchased within the last month. There is certainly no buyers remorse; these speakers are excellent. I will post more comments later. My system:

Rear: Emerald On Walls
Center: Sapphire XLC pre-ordered
Sub: Force
Receiver: Denon 3805
DVD: Denon 3910
Amp: Bryston 4BSST, driving the fronts

Gooday ladies and junkies!......and by the way.....welcome back from your time off Mike!

It's been said the eagle flies on Friday. I just might have become a full fledged ACI junkie. Bal dealt me my fix with copious amounts of free-bass with the TALse and and eightball of EssenceC. I'm anticipating a snootful!

So, it looks like Maestro is gonna have some company. Maestro was getting lonely anyway and was looking for a couple of new ramrods to join the gang.

Anyhow, as is and was the case with ACI's customer service, I'd like to add that in regards to this purchase (i.e. TALse & EssenceC), Balji at High-Def Zone was a pleasure to do business with and is a fine representative for ACI's products. I was very pleased with his patience, service, response time, expertise, and accomodation to my needs during our rather lengthy conversations and my unorthodox approach to this purchase. In summation, I greatly appreciated the time and effort Balji expended during our dealing and have high regard for his very personal service he offers at High-Def Zone.

Jags with LFMs, very sweet! If I had a room and system that needed speakers I'd be thinking of these!

They're here and I love them!  I'm moving in afew months, so just using them in my HT
right now.  Been missing the ACI sound ever since foolishly selling my Jag 2000's.
These are here to stay and have their own 18x24 space in the new house.

Been driving them now with a 55wpc ARC VSi55 integrated and even with the modest power,
they sound great!  The powered and adjustable LFM's make them easy to drive and have
excellent bass impact.   The Jags readily show differences in recordings.
