Sorry if this already should have been asked but are the X2 ready to go as they are? No need for DSPs? Just connect them to the amps like you do with the M3s?

Yes, the X2 is completely passive - no outboard processing or bi-amping needed. Plug and Play :)

Single-wired? bi-wired? connections.  Are the upper and lower units connected externally?  If so, is that cable supplied?

We supply a jumper for single wire hook up. Or, you can bi-wire if you have a bi-wire cable set.

Thank you very much Clayton.

Please allow me to tell you that this is the nicest looking loudpeaker that I saw in years. It simply looks splendid. And it seems to be rock solid, too.

And due to it‘s ease of use it definitely is a speaker to check out.

Hey guys,

Don't fret, the first 10 pair of X2s start shipping next week, so the wait is over my friends.

Awesome news! Any idea when we might start to see industry reviews to help out those of us who haven't had the opportunity to hear them at a show?

Yes, the X2 goes low. The -3dB point is 18hz.

How is that possible?

OB is not something you associate with bass that low.

Actually, OB bass can and does go deep.

Like everything, it all goes back to the implementation.

Yes. I should have been clearer that it has a reputation for not going low. However as you note, that is hardly the case for all OB and depends on implementation
