CB I was walking thru the Via (thrift store) when I looked up high on a shelf that was about a foot over my head. There it was the absolute coolest lamp I'd ever seen

$8 later and I was on my way home with it. Now mind you it will never see the light of day upstairs but that's OK. I like it down in the black hole with me.

I borrowed them from the library in the past and they were excellent. I was also able to find dvd's of Ralph Gleason's "Jazz Casual" among others.

If you use a software like DVD Audio Extractor, you can rip the music files off the dvd.

8 lps of amazing live recordings--not flawless by any means, but great pressings, and very simple (and effective) mic'ing and mixing.
