A friend just bought about 500 t shirts from tours from 20-40 years ago. There must be 100 Dead shirts among them,  most in great condition  I bought a Neil Young/Booker T.& the MG's shirt and an old Iron Maiden (I hate I.M., but my son in law loves them- hence the gift).

Hello all.   A beautiful place to get live GD is Lossless Legs.
http://www.shnflac.net/index.php

Lots and lots of soundboards (GD and Jerry) and other trader friendly music.    All free and legal P2P trading.

If you're not familiar with the site, sign up and then get another external hard drive.

Interesting gmurray, I'm always fascinated by sites like that though I've never tried them. Any other ACer been there?

However, there is this show as free download on the Internet Archive, one of the biggies, July 78 at Red Rocks. I saw the Dead at Red Rocks but not this show but still what a great venue to see them:

actually, like all GD soundboards on the LMA, it is very lossy stream only, no download option.

The easiest way to get GD soundboard free lossless downloads is to go to db.etree.org, find the source you want from a particiular date, then go to bt.etree.org and search for that source's SHNID in Grateful Dead.  If you need help downloading. etree.org has all the info you need.

No argument from me regarding bt.etree.org.  Wonderful site.    But I find the Lossless Legs search easer and more interesting (I find things I didn't know I was looking for) and most importantly the site has a resead button (rarely needed, people see a need and start seeding).  Its a very laid back site.  No requirement to maintain a up/download ratio.  I have never gotten an email from LL (its been my net home since 2007).  Most of the shows on LL can also be found on bt.etree.org.

Enjoy.
