Well this woke me up this morning ...more of a Sunday music vibe for me, but I was catching up on work emails listening to these on spotify.

I think many of you ACers will like it. Talented jazzy singer Rachael Price and an ensemble= Lake Street Dive. Does her voice remind you of anyone?!

It seems that there are more and more crossover artist these days. This works for me as I enjoy good music no matter where or from who it comes from.

Yes, in fact she does, I played her for my wife and neither one of us can "place the voice".
Names that came to mind.....Regina Spektor, Melodie Gardot, Sara Berellis and a woman names McCorckle [sp?]

That would be the great (and very sadly, late) Susannah McCorkle. To my ears, Rachel Price sounds a bit like all of these but a lot more like Carol King. She is very good, nonetheless.

Very late to the party....just discovered this band too- Lake Street Dive. YOWZA, decided to resurrect your post for the benefit of all. I think they sound great, if you like blues, jazz.. Where have I been?
