The Falcon is a popular choice for VPI Scout turntables, but will work with any turntable having a standard 115-125v AC synchronous motor requiring 5 watts or less. Easy switching between 33 and 45 rpm, precise speed control, voltage control. And can be connected to an optional Roadrunner tachometer for even more precise speed regulation, if desired.

In the comparison grid on the Phoenix website (data fact sheet), it states that the Falcon does 78 rpm. I do not see that capability in the owner's manual. Does it do 78 rpm?

I don't recall noticing any support for 78-rpm.

Check the data sheet. Clearly says 78 rpm. But, Roscoe probably bought it already! :D

Sale is pending. :)

I don't recall noticing any support for 78-rpm while using the unit.  I believe that's an error in the data sheet.
