[/color][/color]Bought these to mate with a Virtue Audio One.2 amplifier. John Bateman at DIYSpeakers.com built the unfinished oak veneered baltic birch cabinets. The veneer is very thick and the cabinets and drivers are very high quality in general. Seas Engineering recommended the cabinet design and I was not at all disappointed with their recommendation. After years of trying various Fostex full-range designs, I was tired of their Fostex sound and wanted to try a different full-ranger. These proved to be a very good full-range speaker with very surprising bass and a very sweet and tame mid-range. I recently sold all of my Virtue gear and had these around not being used. I moved on to a Wyred4Sound amplifier and Dynaudio speakers so these are for sale now. Asking $190 including shipping to continental US.
