I'm in the UK and I've been into music and Hi Fi for 30 plus years, gradually building my music collection and upgrading my equipment .
On the CD side I had a philips CD650 when they first came out ...which eventually moved to a Meridian 508. This got upgraded with replacement dacs and transports and is still serving as a transport with an Audiolab M dac plus.
On Amplifiers the journey has been Musical Fidelity... Dr Thomas power amp and a P172 pre-amp, an A3 pre and power and an A5 pre and power before switching to Krell Evos.
On speaker front... built some of the KEF based transmission line kits from the 80s and constantlt tinkered with them. Just bought Hyperion 938 speakers and saw the pages here.
Too many cables to mention but currently like Chord signature speaker cables and Audioquest Colorado interconnect
