U2 - The Joshua Tree [MFSL] (1987)

First album played on the Bamberg 3 TMW's. Very nice sound!

Did you get the monitor and the bass cabinets? Didn't like your previous speakers, didn't you just get them late part of 2016?

I am trying out the Pass ACA mono blocks that I just built.

The Von Schweikert speakers I replaced did many things right and are a screaming bargain for the price, but they just did not work well in my room. My room has two openings on the right side and few speakers would work well in there. Yes, I got the full package - monitors and bass cabinets. The bass is the best I've ever heard. Even better than my JL Audio e-112 subwoofer in the range they operate. Unbelievable what Philip did with a 9" woofer. The built-in Hypex amplifiers are super quiet.

What speakers are you using? They must be super efficient. I just noticed that the Pass amps make 5 Watts per channel!

Currently using Boston Acoustics HD9 speakers. They are only rated at 90 db at 1W/1m. They seemed to be ok at my normal listening level. I have been eyeing some of the Omega speakers as a replacement, but I also want a pair of subs, a preamp, and a new DAC. So we will see what the next upgrade is. Most likely new speakers or subs.

That's a nice production indeed.

I also really enjoyed Tidal MQA, Modern Jazz Quartet, Lonely Woman. One of the best full album listens I've had in a long while :)
