BR-2 remote control illumination
« on: 4 May 2015, 09:16 am »
Hi!

Can someone tell me what is the colour of illumination on the BR-2 remote control? Does Bryston offer different colours like they do with LEDs on the dress panels of their equipment?

Also, I read the BR-2 user manual but there is something I don't understand. With the BDP-1, does it allow for searching within a track like with a CD player?

Thanks!
Antun

Okay! Thanks James!

What about the track search function like on a CD player? Is it supported by the BR-2?

From what I can see in the BR-2 manual, you can skip tracks by using the buttons NEXT and PREVIOUS. What do the buttons FORWARD and BACK do? The symbols "<<" and ">>" certainly suggest these are used to search for a specific part within a track.

Any thoughts?

Cheers!

Hi

The next and previous will allow you to go to the next track or previous track on your play list.

Thank you James!

Then it might be a good idea to correct the picture in the BR-2 manual.

Cheers!

HI Antun!
i take it you're referring to the last page of http://bryston.com/PDF/Manuals/300020[BR2].pdf?

At least the BCD should be added.... I use it on a daily basis  :thumb:  especially the 'secret' 0, to turn off the lights, is one of my favorites.

Cheers,
Marius
