Really cool looking stuff.  I used to own a Pioneer CT-F 1250 deck (http://www.canuckaudiomart.com/details/108287-pioneer_ctf_1250_vintage_cassette_deck/images/118707/).  I picked up one of those Pioneer metal 18 inch racks (many moons ago) closed out by a retailer cheap with a bunch of rack mount kits and bought some parts from Pioneer for parts missing from the rack mount kits (from memory the retail on the rack and the kits was about $700 back then and I had about $140 into it).  Had a friend come over who worked at a stereo store that mainly sold used equipment who happened to own the Pioneer reel to reel (forget if it was the 707 or 909 model) that matched the cassette deck.  He had to have it so I ended up trading everything for his Nakamichi 680 cassette deck.  I used it for years and one of guys who I used to deal with at a local stereo store always lusted after it.  I was about to move and the Nak needed some minor repair and at that point I only used cassettes in the car so I gave it to him.

This is a nice idea!  Sharing "listening room" and "man caves"!  I like to see what others can come up with originality and design in relatively small area...

I just don't like YouTube video that "film" their sound system playing music... I suppose that some people think that we are listening to "their" equipment, when we are actually listening to our equipment, thru highly compressed YouTube video, taken from probably a non-professional mic on a non-professional camera...

But someone that present their stuff and show us how they managed to arrange their little place of self preservation from our everyday lives, that is interesting!   :D

Here's a vintage Pioneer rack - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltpG2cdML_Q

It's the rack I owned many moons ago.  The turntable is basically the Phase Linear (I owned that many moons ago - last turntable I owned) they copied after that bought the company  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SazQhxLu96M
