Platform for LIO?

Platform for LIO?

What types of materials are people using for platforms for their LIO? I know there are scattered pix but was hoping you'd each post a photo and a little blurb about why you chose that product.

Like a few others in that thread, I use Daedalus Isolation Devices (DiDs) on my Steve Blinn rack. Though I will probably be rethinking the rack in the future.

That reminds me. I have a granite surface plate in the workshop that I want to try.... and some Herbie's Big Fat Dots.

edit:   Done    12"X18"X3"   Grizzly Granite Surface Plate,  79lbs  $42.95.  I can't find the dots yet.
