I received a brand new VDA2 and have been burning it in for the last week or so. Dusty had mentioned about 300 hours. I was using a Wadia 1710i transport going to the coax input on the DAC.
The last day or so I have just switched my setup to a Mac Mini based transport going optical into the DAC. My question is do I have to start over with the burn in process or is it going through the same circuits regardless of input?
On a different note, the Wadia for the money is a great little transport. I am still tweaking my Mac Mini but right now I enjoyed the Wadia transport better. It might have to do with the toslink/coax cable though. I'm considering a DIP classic to lower the jitter as well as have coax input. Thoughts???
