Several years ago I was on my way to pick up a non-op Sansui 9090DB when I saw some signs for a garage sale and decided to take a detour. I asked about any audio and as I was being shown a beat up Garrard TT another buyer pointed to some units up near the rafters. They were on their sides with backs pointing out.

I pulled down a Marantz 2325 and Sansui 1000A. Went back the next day for the Pioneer CTF-1000 and a tube tester.

This Fisher Console could be mine if I could have fit it in my CTS.  I apologize for not noting the model number.  Operational in late 60's and 70's.

Here's some pictures of my Loewe Opta "Truxa" from 1959 in very good cosmetic & operating condition with original Telefunken tubes. Sounds amazing for it's age!

Looks like the Ohm Walsh speaker. I always wanted to hear the model F, but I think it went out of production about the time I got my driver's license. I did get to hear one of the smaller Walsh speaker models in the middle 1980's, and I thought that they sounded very good at the time.

Get that swiffer duster out and do some cleaning!  :D

That IS the OHM F - a very rare animal today.  Unless the driver has been rebuilt the foam damping has turned to dust.  Here's a link although I haven't figured out to make it live...http://www.ohmspeaker.com/legacy-products/f/

Winner, yep that's what they are. Redone in '93 so there is some life left. When I first saw them at a sale, I thought they were ESS AMTs.  Do have an impressive soundstage, need clean power and quite a bit of it. I also have a pair of the FRS-7.

Hi jhm731 and all Audio Circle members.
Can you tell us the makes and models (If possible) of all the components
shown in your picture?
Nice set up for that time and even for today.

My ESS AMT 3 Rock Monitors from 1976 or so . . . Purchased these from the original owner a couple years ago in mint condition.

Hi Steve,

The Heil Air Motion Transformers are amazing. There is nothing quite like them in the world of HF drivers. I think you would enjoy some Frank cranked up with these!  :D

I bought AMT 1's new in '76 which are a 2 way 10" woofer/Heil system, but they always lacked in the mid and bass areas. Having 2-10" woofers & a 6" mid keeps up with the Heil much better. They were the ESS Flagship model and I couldn't afford them back then. They were about $550-650 each. I'll have to bring them out soon. I actually owned 2 pairs of these in the last few years. But I parted with the other ones and kept this pair. Right now I'm running a pair of Altec 19's which are awesome. I'll post some more of my collection soon. I have some really cool vintage JBL's & others in the corral.

Cheers! Bob
