loved my old 1+1's.  they were so very imposing looking, yet very delicate sound.  Sould them for am even better deal than this during a move (couldnt fit them in the new audio room due to height)

If the transformers are later Medallions, they're worth $250 without the speakers or sub

For $250 I couldn't careless what transformers they came with. These are great speakers by any standard, and for the price there isn't anything new or used that can touch this deal.

Come on, GAS guys.  Somebody buy these and join the stat section of GAS.  Albert, Adrian, Bryan and I have stats and you could get in for almost nothing.  I'd buy them, but I've got a turntable deal going (Scott, don't tell :shh: ) 

MerRev, SteveK, Sturgus,vhiner... somebody get these quick.

Yeah, sure.  I already have Maggies and stacked DQ-10s, and a wife who can't figure out why those ugly speakers can't just be pushed up against the wall.

And I am saving up for a good preamp.

Still want 'em, though!     :drool:
