You really can't compare the two.  The Encores had much better electronics.  $15,000 Wells integrated amp and Exogal Dac and power supply.

Actually, the Encores were being driven by the $3500 Wells Majestic integrated.  The Exotica 3's were driven by the larger Wells amp.

LOL!!  I hope my wife lets me keep them.  I told her they were bookshelf speakers  :)

I have some production on my S3E order (23%).  The cabinets are glued up.

Sounds like ours are being built side by side.  Mine are at the same step in production.  What veneer did you choose?

I chose curly walnut veneer with dark walnut dye & satin finish (retro look)
