It doesn't take a lot of digging to find a ton of universal praise for the NAD M2 integrated amp - in professional reviews and user feedback alike.  Personally, I've tried a number of class D amps - none of which I liked nearly as well as my old McCormack DNA-500 amp. But this NAD M2 totally changed my mind about it. It excels as as preamp, DAC and amp in all one stellar integrated while eliminating the hassles (and cost) of separate components, cables and power cords.

Robert Harley of The Absolute Sound said it best...

"The M2 sounded completely unlike any other Class D amplifier I’ve heard. It had no characteristic fingerprint that identified its technology. Rather, the M2 tended to get out of the way, reflecting the virtues and verities of the recording.... As for the M2 as an alternative to a $3500 conventional integrated amplifier and a $2500 digital-to-analog converter, it’s a slam dunk. I haven’t heard, nor can I imagine, any combination of amplification and DAC at the price approaching the M2’s performance."

Sorry, forgot to update this post and didn't see your reply - my bad  :duh: :duh:

I actually really liked this integrated and had planned to keep it for quite some time.  And then I borrowed a Devialet for a couple weeks and just got totally blown away by it.
