Tommy - what is happening?  Need a report from you, and why aren't you answering your email?

Steve,

Please send a private message re:email as I have not received any from you recently that I'm aware of

Regarding the 44.1k output versus the 96k output SMs, I like the 96k better for quiet music, especially when digitally attenuated.

I recently found an issue with the sBox S/PDIF that the SM seems to improve but not fix. I'm investigating, but looks (sounds) like the data is not 100% stable.  Strangely, this is worse AFTER playing WAV (44.1k) files over WIFI.  I'm trying to get repeatable results to report.  Any idea why this may be happening?

Thanks, and have a great weekend.

Tommy - the SM will take even data with errors and fix it and output good data.  Better to find out why you are getting bad data from your source.  You might try a different S/PDIF cable.  The one that I lent you should be the best.

If you are sending music data over WiFi, this is usually not a good thing.  I use wired Ethernet at least.

Steve,

Not much of an excuse, I know, but Tommy's been very busy lately.

I'll text him and urge him to get back in touch with you.

Yes, we've been extremely busy.

Steve, I did reply to your regular email as I haven't been on AC much during the last few weeks.

Thanks, Mike, for the head's up.

I've concluded that it would be nice to have a Synchro-Mesh as part of my reference gear....

I was skeptical that a "reclocker" was even a real device. However all the reviews had me intrigued enough that when a gently used SM came along, I jumped.

I was so impressed that I also bought the Hynes power supply and BNC-BNC cable.

This combo is simply amazing.  Not entirely sure what it does or how it does it but IT does do it!!

It's definitely not "snake oil" that's for sure.  What's even better is I can use it with my transport too!
